Charlestonercise DVD Launch
Anthony Padget, he who runs our Charleston Dancing classes, is launching a new DVD that he has put together to teach you how to keep in shape - vintage style.
Welcome to Charlestonercise. No dance experience is required.
First of all, what is the Charleston? It is a fun dance craze from the 1920’s America. It is from the Jazz era, a time of Flappers (young, liberated women), High Society, Gangsters and Prohibition (where alcohol was illegal and was drunk in illicit bars – the Speakeasies). Dance teacher Anthony has married the more traditional moves of the dance with getting active to make a truly unique exercise regime. Best of all he has put together a step by step guide on DVD so that you can master the new phenomenon yourself.
The DVD brings you 4 sequences of exercises that are in increasing difficulty. Each sequence has 6 moves that will exercise your thighs, waist, arms and chest. We also present a final 5th sequence that will focus on your stomach and back.
Tonight will be the official launch so the instructors will be on hand to give a demonstration and you can pick up a few of the basic moves. You will also be able to purchase the DVD on the night.
See you there!
Why not hang around and make a night of it and join us for our 1920's prohibition party afterwards.....details as seen on the image.
