The now famous Matt & Phreds Jazz Jam has already attracted the likes of Chuck Perkins, Lonnie Liston Smith and his Band and Benn Clatworthy, as well as members of Riot Jazz and H.A.Q. This is a chance to see a diverse section of musicians from the North-West and beyond play impromptu sets together. Led by Dave Spencer of Marley Chingus, don’t be surprised if you see a few well known faces on the stage.

The Jam is a great chance to meet with like-minded musicians, and a rare opportunity to see creative and inventive Jazz played in true improvised style.. It is open to all, entry is free and all instruments are welcome, including jazz vocalists.
