Roller Trio
This trio play modern composition born from free improvisation sessions. What makes this band interesting is their ability to switch instrument roles, successfully accompanying each other - forming a trust that allows the players to have freedom to push the compositions to their limits.
Taking influences from jazz, rock, reggae, hip hop and Indian music, they started composing together by recording free improvisations, structuring the results into complete pieces.
Roller trio met on the Leeds jazz scene in 2010 united in their love for freedom in improvisation.
Their debut album is to be released in autumn on the F-ire label.
