In October 2010, Paul Farr launched his album 'Thinking Big' at Matt & Phreds.
'a mix of melodic jazz, blues and funk along with a couple of more textural film scape influenced tunes.'
After years of playing on other peoples material (Tom Jones, Joss Stone, Lily Allen...and more) Paul decided to put his efforts into his own music. What emerged was a blend of melodic jazz, gritty blues and funky New Orleans chopped with 70's soul. To help him he enrolled arguably the best musicians for such a project. Luke Flowers on drums (Cinematic Orchestra) and Sylvan Ricradson (too much to mention). Augmenting the band when possible with Neil Yates on trumpet or Andy Schofield on sax.
