Ooo this is going to be a fun one! Warmly welcoming The Hot Club of Halifax to Matt & Phred’s for their first gig at the club! If you’re partial to a bit of head nodding, foot tapping, and dancing the night away to some classic Gypsy Jazz, this is the night for you!
The Hot Club of Halifax are a fresh and exciting collective of seasoned Jazz musicians offering dynamic and charismatic renditions of songs and tunes from the Django 'Gypsy Jazz' repertoire.
This superb line up of guitars, vocals, double bass, clarinet, fiddle, and percussion are sure to put a smile on your face as they make their way through centuries of classic tunes… Expect some surprises too! Jazz and Latin infused standard, mesmerising Gypsy waltzes, and even folk music from around the world… They’ve got it all!
