Terri Shaltiel is a powerful funky singer as well as a band-leader and song-writer, who sings a bluesy fusion of deep soul, jazz, funk, rare-groove, reggae and all that is fine. Terri can be described as having a tone ranging from gutsy and raw, to lilting and lush.

Terri's music is best described as funky soul and blues fused with contemporary R n B and jazz. She takes inspiration from a diverse range of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Marlena Shaw, Gladys Knight, Ray Charles, Phyllis Dylan, plus many more, with a contemporary twist.

As well as singing for award-winning reggae producers Mafia and Fluxy and ex-Sugar Mynott producer Roman Pryce, Terri has even sung jazz in Harlem! She has secured radio play with her own songs on BBC Radio 6 Music with Craig Charles’ funk and soul show, and has had some of her material recently featured on reggae/r’n’b stations Passion FM and Unique FM.

Tonight, Terri is joined by her superb band to perform stunning original music as well as her unique arrangements of classic soul, blues, RnB, and jazz.

Terri Shaltiel’s album ‘Sweet Thing’ is now available on vinyl (as well as Spotify & YouTube). It was specially remastered for vinyl at Abbey Road, and has been released by Shed Load Records. There will be limited copies available tonight, or follow this link:
