The STARTS Award is a talent development programme for emerging artists and writer/performers from the UK military community (serving or ex-service personnel or family members (18+)).

The Award programme provides talented individuals with mentoring from creative industry experts and professional platforms to showcase their work.

Today’s event sees spoken word members of The STARTS Award Creative Collective perform their new work on the Matt & Phred’s stage. The Creative Collective is a community made up of the Award’s previous winners, enabling them to continue to expand their creative practice, perform their work in a professional environment, and to share ideas.

Expect performances from Emma Davidson, Gill Charlton, Tip Cullen, Kim Lake Benson Bond, Matt Wightman, and Claire Hughes. Link to further info here: thestartsaward.com/creativecollective
