Join extraordinary 18-piece Big Band DGKollective as they play all-time classic Jazz, Swing, and film tunes in their rarely-heard Big Band arrangements. For this extra-special edition of M&P’s bi-monthly Big Band Brunches, you can also expect some of the band to perform Christmas songs at the start and end of each set! We guarantee that this one is going to get you in the Christmas spirit! Matt & Phred’s have created a special Brunch Pizza Menu (with some extras too) for you to feast on whilst you enjoy the music.
Founded in 2013, DG Kollective are made up of some of the North's finest players, meeting regularly to broaden and strengthen their top-tier repertoire, led by band leader Andrew Turnbull.

Manchester based Jazz & Blues singer & pianist Jeremy Sassoon is one of the UK’s most in-demand singer/pianists. His gigs see him captivating audiences with his natural, soulful voice, and a repertoire of his arrangements of Jazz, Blues, Groove, Fusion and Soul classics.
Jeremy’s solo piano set will see him spanning genres of Jazz, Blues and Soul. Jazz standards through the music of Ray Charles, Mose Allison and Sam Cooke. Arrangements of Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, Glen Campbell and Jimi Hendrix and Amos Milburn will feature throughout this gig.

ZANG are a superb party band who play pure, brilliant & fabulous dance floor filling classic house, Ibiza dance anthems, funky pop, R&B, & rave music.
This band is très quirky, truly unique, very talented, loads of fun and super cool. The band take serious pride in it's ability to rework and energise great songs, to surprise, delight and excite its audience. So if you want a brilliant night of music, featuring well known but not overplayed, stylish, inspirational 'bums off seats and into dance mode' tunes - that almost certainly and absolutely is ZANG!
Formed by and consisting of professional musicians in 2016, ZANG have deliberately tailored their playlist to be the polar opposite of those bog standard function bands mentioned above.
