ZANG are a superb party band who play pure, brilliant & fabulous dance floor filling classic house, Ibiza dance anthems, funky pop, R&B, & rave music.
This band is très quirky, truly unique, very talented, loads of fun and super cool. The band take serious pride in it's ability to rework and energise great songs, to surprise, delight and excite its audience. So if you want a brilliant night of music, featuring well known but not overplayed, stylish, inspirational 'bums off seats and into dance mode' tunes - that almost certainly and absolutely is ZANG!
Formed by and consisting of professional musicians in 2016, ZANG have deliberately tailored their playlist to be the polar opposite of those bog standard function bands mentioned above.

Alligator Gumbo are a 7 piece New Orleans jazz band from Leeds, who have been playing together since 2011. Having played extensively around the country, and often packed out Matt & Phred’s, we can’t wait to see them again.
A gig with Alligator Gumbo sees jazz from the hey-day of the New Orleans swing/jazz era, when music was raw and largely improvised with melodies and solos happening simultaneously which has now become defined as the 'New Orleans' sound.
As well as the band’s unique and fast-tempo treatment of the classic tunes, Alligator Gumbo take this distinctive style and apply it to their arrangements of more modern and popular songs which everyone will recognise and happily head to the dance floor upon hearing.

Yubaba are North Wales’ and the North West’s premier Funk & Soul act. This vocal-led 6 piece band never fail to get audiences of all ages moving with their infectious mix of Funk, Soul, Ska and Reggae.
With a mighty repertoire spanning from classic grooves to more modern chart tracks, Yubaba add their own arrangements and twists to Funk, Soul, and Reggae hits from the 80’s to today.
From The White Stripes, to Amy Winehouse, to The Beatles, to James Brown, to Aretha Franklin, to Junior Senior, and so very far beyond…
The hugely competent line up of vocals, saxophone, guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums promise to ignite the atmosphere of our little backstreet jazz club from song one. This is to be a Saturday night in the company of a fantastic band whose awesome showmanship and skill will get you dancing in your seat, then on the dance floor, then all the way home.
