Whilst this particular band is a relatively new one, its members are certainly well-established within the music scene.

This line up is made up of a talented team of creative musicians, known for their technical abilities and musical versatility, has been put together with a view to playing their take on, (among others), music played by the likes of Brecker Brothers, Yellow Jackets, Bob James, David Sanborn and others.

Tonight, Graham Dean (drums) and Jose Carah (bass) are joined by:

George King - Piano
George's career to date includes performances and collaborations with a huge variety of artists. His career as a classical pianist has led him to perform at venues all over the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room. He is also an improviser of rare quality. His stylistic range covers many musical paths, whether it is a solo free improvisation piano recital. This versatility has led to performances at festivals including Glastonbury, Womad and Jazz festivals all over the world.

Dean Masser - Saxophone
A commanding player with a big sound and an engaging stage manner is, like the title of his first album as a leader suggests, very much “Old School”, continuing the legacy of the music he was exposed to from an early age: Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and the sounds of players like Ben Webster, Lester Young and Eddie Lockjaw Davis.

This evening, expect a broad variety of fantastic music from these four prolific musicians. From Swinging Jazz, to Bebop Classics, to standards from the Great American Songbook!
