Acclaimed singer Pat Fulgoni returns with this top notch 5 piece blues band already with European blues festival dates under their belts and equally at home in UK clubs, venues and festivals.
Over at SXSW in Texas, Billboard Magazine declared "Pat Fulgoni could sing a pearl from its oyster”.
Domino Club, Leeds says "Pat is the real deal. you won’t find a finer blues singer working today”
Indeed Pat has sung across many styles including major dance floor collaborations with the likes of festival headlining acts Camo & Krooked, Zion Train, Technimatic, London Elektricity and Murdock. But it's truly magical when he sings the blues especially when backed by the stunning musicianship of his band featuring Jacob Beckwith on guitar, Rory Wells on bass, Sam Bolt on keys and Zebedee Sylvester on drums.

Young has gained long listed Grammy nominations over the recent years with previous album releases and this year will see the latest release of original material.
Repurposing existing hooks and established patterns, Neil C. Young's 'ReWorks' project generates new music and fresh lines of flight, aiming to draw out disparate angles hiding in the music. Lyrical content is present and correct, but respectfully adjusted, re-sited and not forgotten. The big sounds of New Orleans come to M&P’s for the New Orleans Jam, held every 3rd Monday of the month and hosted by mighty house band The Nightcreatures. With a strong emphasis on the involvement of brass, these monthly Jam sessions are sure to make you feel like you’ve travelled over the Atlantic to Louisiana.
The New Orleans Jam sees our little jazz club filled with the blaring brass, Rhythm and Blues, Second Line Grooves, Street Beats, Funk, Rock’n’Roll, and Rhumba of New Orleans, where the round-the-clock atmosphere sees never ending music filling the streets… This is the music of Dr. John, Fats Domino, Jelly Roll Morton, and Professor Longhair, to name but a few, and those who come by to play at the jams follow in their footsteps tremendously.
NOLA tunes really are in a class of their own, being seen by many as the true origin of traditional jazz. The bringing together of musicians in New Orleans, to all be united by music, is all about the atmosphere of a live performance. Horns aplenty, thundering drums, heavy guitar riffs, and whatever other instrument might appear would come together to create a sound to celebrate life and ensure the party never stops. The M&P New Orleans Jam sees musicians from any background brought together by this same attitude to live music. So long as it’s played in a New Orleans style… Anything goes.
Come down and experience the wonders of the Jam happening in front of your eyes, and don’t be surprised if you’re persuaded to have a good old dance too.

Every 2nd Monday of the month sees M&P’s become an unmatched nucleus of all things Jazz for both local musicians and visitors to musically express themselves in a way nowhere else can offer.
Led by Johnny Hunter and his band, musicians of any level, brought together by their love of Jazz, are welcomed to the M&P stage to jam the night away alongside some of the finest musicians in the North. This is a unique experience to perform an improvised piece, a Jazz standard, or even a Jazzy twist on a pop tune, accompanied by a stellar line up and in front of a full audience.
Whilst the Jazz Jam can very much go anywhere, we are passionate about keeping things true to Jazz. These jams are all about recreating the atmosphere and excitement of 1940's venues Minton's Playhouse and Monroe's where this music was created, and musicians like Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Thelonious Monk, Mary Lou Williams learned their craft and developed the Bebop language.
Come along and watch the evening unfold. Anything can happen. Over the years, our famous Jazz Jam has attracted the likes of Chuck Perkins, Lonnie Liston Smith, Benn Clatworth, as well as members of Riot Jazz Brass Band, GoGo Penguin, and the Beats & Pieces Big Band. Rum Buffalo have been tearing up the underground music scene in the UK with a unique brand of Jazz flavoured Psych-Rock and are ready to pounce onto stage with their debut Album: 'Blood Moon'.
The band started as a busking jazz troupe, entertaining tourists in London’s historic Covent Garden. As the crowds grew, so did their sound, until they finally became the leviathan they are today.
Improbable horn lines, reminiscent of big band greats such as ‘Duke Ellington’ sit amongst huge sonic landscapes provided by Jack White-esque guitar, twisted synths, and groovy rhythms.
This writhing beast of sound is jockeyed by frontman Jake Stevens who offers glimpses into dreamscape visions with his other worldly lyricism and soulful vocals.
Over the years, Rum Buffalo have travelled around entertaining and dazzling audiences from Istanbul to Rekjavik with their flamboyant and tight performances.
You can just imagine how thrilled we are to invite this epic band back to M&P’s. It’s going to be a massive night, trust us, you don’t want to miss this.

Inspired by modern electronic musicians such as Floating Points, Maribou State, Thom Yorke and Jojo Mayer, Matt and Phreds new night The Hybrid Sessions sets out to reverse engineer digital music and to explore its creation through a combination of live instrumentation with electronic production.
Curated by drummer and artist Laurie Agnew, this new night aims to open doors for musicians who wish to explore electronic music and improvisation.
Each event will feature a guest artist, which will imbue each night with idiosyncrasy and individuality. The stage will also be open for others to join in with the music, be it as an instrumentalist or vocalist.
A hybrid drum kit, percussion and Ableton Push will be available as well as vocal mics, guitar and bass amp. The opportunity to create live music with an electronic aesthetic will be instantaneous.
The inclusion of unique instrumentation is actively encouraged (the stranger the better) however, if your instrument will require particular time or attention to set up please contact the venue before hand.
The goal of The Hybrid Sessions is to be an inclusive space but participation will be at the organisers discretion. Respect must be shown to the artists with which you are playing and to the equipment provided, but above all else participation will require a commitment to the risk of creating live music through improvisation. Dock of the Bay is a wonderful song, but this is not the night for it.
Joining Laurie Agnew tonight will be special guest SAM VICARY, of the Cinematic Orchestra, on bass.
