An all-star line up from the Leeds jazz scene pays tribute to the legendary saxophonist and composer Joe Henderson.
Widely celebrated as one of the most influential musicians in the history of American music, Joe Henderson had a career spanning over four decades. He recorded over thirty albums as a leader, penned numerous tunes that have become essential parts of the jazz cannon and collaborated with musicians including Horace Silver, Chick Corea, Roy Ayers, Alice Coltrane and Freddie Hubbard.
The Ben Powling Quartet features musicians from Vipertime, Mu Quintet, Ancient Infinity Orchestra, Ben Haskins Quartet and Wandering Monster.
