Assembly Trio are a Sheffield-based contemporary jazz guitar trio consisting of: Alex Bishop on guitar, Ben Evans on bass and Will Shaw on drums. Their music is strongly interactive, thoughtful and conversational.

With a fresh rhythmic sound steeped in jazz tradition, they test new waters in their textural and harmonic approach, delivering melodies memorable enough to whistle on your way home but with enough chaos to constantly have you guessing what’s coming next.

Tonight, expect a mixture of original material as well as choice arrangements of jazz standards.
