A highly respected figure on the Manchester jazz scene, pianist Andrzej Baranek is known for his swinging, inventive style and deep understanding of the jazz tradition. Over the years he has become one of the North West’s most in-demand jazz pianists, performing alongside some of the UK’s finest musicians and appearing in ensembles including the acclaimed Magic Hat Ensemble.

Tonight, Andrzej leads a special Latin jazz quartet featuring Jack McCarthy, Laurie Agnew and AP from Manchester favourites Salsa de Cuba. Expect an infectious blend of fiery Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz standards reimagined with a Latin twist, dazzling improvisation and irresistible grooves from four exceptional musicians.
